Immigrate to Canada through the Quebec Experience Program

The Quebec Experience program aims to encourage graduate students in Quebec and people who have worked there temporarily to stay in Quebec permanently with an appropriate status.

This program has two components

• Quebec graduates
• Interims specialized in employment

Unlike the regular skilled worker program, selection for this program is not based on a selection grid and does not take into account the characteristics of the spouse or de facto spouse.

What is a Quebec graduate

A graduate within the meaning of the Quebec experience program is a person who has stayed in Quebec for the main purpose of studying after being authorized to do so. The studies must be carried out in a school board, a CEGEP, a college whose training program is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research (MÉESR)

Eligibility criteria

• You must intend to settle in Quebec to work there;
• You must have respected the conditions of your stay during your studies;
• Your degree must be obtained within the last 36 months;
• Your study must have been carried out for at least 1800 hours (2 years);
• You must demonstrate your mastery of the French language;

Note that not all study programs are eligible for the Québec experience program.
