8 - Natural resources, agriculture and related production
This category includes supervisory and machine operator positions in the natural resource industries, i.e. mining, oil and gas production, forestry and logging, agriculture, horticulture and fishing. Most of the occupations included in this category are industry specific and not found outside of these primary industries.
Occupations requiring a high level of specialization usually require a college or vocational diploma. However, some of these occupations are characterized by on-the-job training and progression associated with experience.
